The Centre for Alternative Studies in Social Sciences is an autonomous institution dedicated to conducting research on various aspects of human development in South Asia and worldwide. It is devoted to the production of high-quality scholarship, better public policies, and a more potent public discourse about the structures and processes that shape life in South Asia and worldwide. CASSS’s community comprises of excellent scholars of different branches of South Asian studies.
